Assassination of Abraham Lincoln

    Emmitt McLaughlin a former priest wrote, "The library of material published about the assassination is voluminous, it is part of the civil war, the most written about event in American history.  Was it solely the act of John Wilkes Booth who pulled the trigger?  Was the plot engineered by the President's cabinet? By vice-president Johnson?     In other words there has been an amazing cover up of the real conspirators and their reasons for so doing.  On the surface it appears that some angry southerners were behind it, but this is only a great cover up.  PBS did a documentary story by James Earl Jones called Lincoln: Now He Belongs to the Ages, in which some interesting things were brought to light.  The Wanted Poster was offering reward money for David E. Herald, John Surrat, and John Wilkes Booth.  John Surrat was sheltered by Catholic priests! When Surrat was caught, he was found in the popes army!  When he was aboard the Peruvian he boasted, "We Killed Lincoln the Niggers Friend!"  The conspirators were infact Roman Catholic!

    Even General Harris wrote a book called Rome's Responsibility For the Assassination of Abraham Lincoln.  Rome was openly on the side of the South.

    Why did the Jesuits hate Lincoln so badly?  Well, it basically began in 1855 when Lincoln was an attorney defending Charles Chiniquy who was making known some of the corruptions and deceptions in the Roman Catholic church, and so the church concocted a terrible story about Chiniquy to have him put away to the penitentiary.  Lincoln got wind of the real plot laid against this man because he dared make known the corruption's in the Roman Catholic church.  Chiniquey tells the story of what happened after the trial,

     "When Abraham Lincoln was writing the due bill, the relaxation of the great strain upon my mind, and the great kindness of my benefactor and defender in charging me so little for such a service, and the terrible presentiment that he would pay with his life for what he had done for me, caused me to break into sobs and tears.  As Mr. Lincoln had finished writing the due bill, he turned around to me and said, 'father Chiniquy what are you crying for?  Ought you not to be the most happy man alive?  You have beaten your enemies and gained a most glorious victory, and you will come out of all your troubles and trials!'  Dear Mr. Lincoln  I answered, allow me to tell you that the joy I should naturally feel for such a victory is destroyed in my mind by the fear of what it will cost you.  There were then in the crowd not less than ten or twelve Jesuits from Chicago and St. Louis who came to hear my sentence of condemnation to the penitentiary.  But it was on their heads that you have brought the thunders of heaven and earth.  Nothing can be compared to the expression of their rage against you, when you not only wrenched me from their cruel hands, but you were making the walls of the court house tremble under the awful and supernaturally eloquent denunciations of their infamy, diabolical malice, and total want of (Messiahan) and human principle, in the plot they had formed for my destruction.

    "What troubles my soul just now, and draws my tears, is that it seems to me that  I have read your sentence of death in their bloody eyes.  How many other noble victims have already fallen at their feet.  He tried to divert my mind at first with a joke.  'Sign this', Mr. Lincoln said, 'it will be my warrant of death', but after I signed he became more solemn and said, I know that Jesuits never forget or forsake, man must not care how or when one dies as long as it is at the post of duty, and he left me." Fifty Years in the Church of Rome p. 369, 370

    The priests who concocted the story had to make a rather hasty retreat lest they should suddenly be brought to trial for some crime!

    Abraham Lincoln was a loyal Patriot to the Constitution of which Rome hates,

    "The Constitution of the United States guarantees liberty of conscience.  Nothing is dearer or more fundamental.  Pope Pius IX., in his Encyclical Letter of August 15, 1854, said: 'The absurd and erroneous doctrines or ravings in defense of liberty of conscience, are a most pestilential error--a pest, of all others, most to be dreaded in a state.' The same pope, in his Encyclical Letter of December 8, 1864, anathematized  'those who assert the liberty of conscience and of religious worship,' also  'all such as maintain that the church may not employ force." quoted in Great Controversy p. 564, 565

    Abraham Lincoln stated, "Unfortunately, I feel more and more, every day, that it is not against the Americans of the south alone that I am fighting, it is more against the Pope of Rome, his perfidious Jesuits and their blind and blood-thirsty slaves." Fifty Years in the Church of Rome p. 496   

    Abraham Lincoln knew something about the Roman Catholic church and the Jesuit order.  He knew that the war between the north and the south was a religious holy war.  Yes, the Scriptures are still true, "In her (the Catholic church) was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth." Revelation 18:24

    Abraham (That is, Father of a great multitude) said concerning the Constitution and the Roman Catholic church,

    "Is it not an absurdity to give to a man a thing which he is sworn to hate, curse and destroy?  And does not the Church of Rome hate, curse, and destroy liberty of conscience whensoever she can do it safely? . . . I cannot give liberty of conscience to the Pope and to his followers, the Papists, so long as they tell me, through all their councils, theologians, and canon law that their conscience orders them to burn my wife, strangle my children, and cut my throat when they find their opportunity."     Did you comprehend the magnitude of this statement?  Abraham was saying in so many words that they have no Constitutional protection.  In other words Abraham was encouraging Americans to be as Jehu.  "But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire." Deuteronomy 7:5

     Without Constitutional protection is the same as saying, its open season on Roman Catholics.  They should be thankful that they have not been exterminated from the face of the earth.  Some day judgment will be given the the saints of the most High as Enoch saw, "Behold YAHUSHUA cometh with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment upon all . . .(the) wicked."
